About the DIY Kitchen Update Kit

We professionally refinish your existing cabinet doors and drawer fronts in our shop. You paint the cabinet frames at home using the materials and guidance included with your kit.

With the Novice Kit, Kitchen Makeovers removes your doors and drawers, provides your kit, professionally refinishes the doors and drawers, and returns to reinstall them. You handle painting the frames.

With the Expert Kit, you remove and deliver the doors and drawers, paint the frames, then pick up and reinstall the refinished components yourself.

It takes approximately 7–10 days for your doors and drawer fronts to be professionally refinished in the Kitchen Makeovers shop.

The kit includes primer, top coat, rollers, tape, sanding materials, gloves, and the supplies provided for completing the frame portion of your project.
You also receive three guided how-to videos and written instructions.
