About Kitchen Makeovers
Kitchen Makeovers provides cabinet and kitchen update services, including:
- Cabinet refinishing
- Cabinet refacing / new doors
- Cabinet organizers and space savers
- DIY Kitchen Update Kits
- Custom carpentry and cabinet modifications
We may also coordinate countertops through FloForm when countertops are included as part of a kitchen project.
Kitchen Makeovers is based in Aldergrove, British Columbia, and serves homeowners throughout the Lower Mainland. DIY Kitchen Update Kits may be available to customers outside the primary service area.

Free In-Home Quotes
Kitchen Makeovers offers free in-home quotes within its service area.
During an in-home quote, an estimator may:
- Assess your existing cabinetry
- Discuss what you want to change
- Explain relevant service options
- Discuss colours, hardware, and other applicable selections
- Explain the process and applicable warranty
- Provide clear, line-item pricing
Submitting a website form, calling Kitchen Makeovers, or requesting an estimate does not obligate you to proceed with a project.
Likewise, requesting an estimate does not create a service contract between you and Kitchen Makeovers.
Any project-specific terms will be provided separately as part of the applicable quote, agreement, or project documentation.

Quotes & Pricing
Every kitchen is different.
Prices depend on factors such as the size and condition of the cabinetry, the service selected, materials, finishes, hardware, organizers, modifications, and other project requirements.
Any pricing shown or discussed generally on this website should not be treated as a final project price unless it is included in a written quote provided specifically for your project.
Kitchen Makeovers provides line-item pricing during the quoting process so customers can understand the applicable project options.

Project Scheduling & Timelines
Project timelines vary depending on the service and scope of work.
For cabinet refinishing, there are typically about four days of work in the home, with an approximately 7–10 day period while doors and drawer fronts are being refinished in the Kitchen Makeovers shop.
For cabinet refacing, on-site work may range from approximately one day for simpler projects to a few days for a full wrapped kitchen.
Custom carpentry, organizers, and other additions may affect the overall project schedule.
Any timeline provided on this website is an estimate and should not be treated as the confirmed schedule for an individual project. Project-specific timing will be discussed during the quoting and scheduling process.

Cabinet Refinishing
Cabinet refinishing is intended for kitchens where the existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet boxes are suitable for refinishing.
Kitchen Makeovers removes the existing doors and drawer fronts and professionally refinishes them in its Aldergrove shop. Cabinet frames, gables, and crown are finished on-site as applicable.
Kitchen Makeovers will assess the condition of your cabinetry and advise whether refinishing is appropriate.
If doors are damaged, swelling, or otherwise unsuitable for refinishing, cabinet refacing or another option may be recommended instead.

Cabinet Refacing / New Doors
Cabinet refacing retains the existing cabinet boxes while replacing the doors and drawer fronts with new ones.
Depending on the project, cabinet frames may be factory vinyl-wrapped or colour-matched painted.
Final measurements are completed before new doors are produced or installed.
Door styles, colours, hardware, frame finishes, and other selections are subject to the options available for the individual project.

Cabinet Organizers & Custom Modifications
Kitchen Makeovers offers custom cabinet organizers and space-saving solutions designed to work with existing cabinetry.
Custom carpentry and cabinet modifications may include projects such as raising cabinets to the ceiling, adding cabinets, building islands, and converting cabinet doors to drawers.
The feasibility of an organizer or modification depends on the existing cabinetry, available space, dimensions, plumbing, and other site-specific conditions.
Kitchen Makeovers will determine what can reasonably be incorporated into the existing kitchen as part of the quoting and planning process.

DIY Kitchen Update Kits
Kitchen Makeovers offers DIY Kitchen Update Kits for homeowners who want to complete part of the cabinet update themselves.
The basic arrangement is that Kitchen Makeovers professionally refinishes the existing doors and drawer fronts while the customer paints the cabinet frames.
Two options are available:
- Novice Kit: Kitchen Makeovers removes and reinstalls the doors and drawers. The customer paints the cabinet frames.
- Expert Kit: The customer removes, delivers, picks up, and reinstalls the doors and drawers and paints the cabinet frames.
DIY Kits include materials and guidance as specified for the selected kit, including three guided how-to videos, written instructions, and one hour of phone support.
Customers choosing a DIY option are responsible for completing the portions of the project assigned to them.

Countertops & Third-Party Services
Kitchen Makeovers works with FloForm to coordinate countertops when they are included as part of a kitchen project.
Kitchen Makeovers does not perform plumbing or water-line work. Any plumbing work must be completed by a licensed plumber.
Where third-party products or services are involved, additional terms, warranties, policies, or requirements from the applicable provider may apply.

Financing
Financing is available through Financeit.
Financing is provided by a third party and is subject to the financing provider’s eligibility requirements, approval process, rates, terms, conditions, and privacy practices.
Kitchen Makeovers does not guarantee that a customer will qualify for financing.

Warranties
Kitchen Makeovers provides written warranties for applicable services.
Current warranty periods identified by Kitchen Makeovers include:
- 3-year written warranty on cabinet refinishing
- 5-year written warranty on new doors
The complete coverage, conditions, limitations, and exclusions applicable to a warranty are governed by the written warranty provided for the individual project.
If there is any difference between general warranty information on this website and the written warranty provided for a project, the project-specific written warranty will govern.

Colours, Images & Project Results
Photos on this website may show previous Kitchen Makeovers projects and are provided to demonstrate examples of completed work.
Actual colours and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting, surrounding materials, photography, screen settings, and other factors.
Previous projects are examples only. They do not guarantee that another kitchen will produce an identical result.
Customers should make their final colour, door style, hardware, and other selections based on the options and samples provided for their individual project.
