Why We Started Kitchen Makeovers
Homeowners were told to replace cabinets for a new look. Founder Tanya Bilmer saw it differently. With 20 years in the trade, she believed kitchens needed transformation, not demolition. Homeowners wanted to love their kitchens again without the cost and waste of tearing everything out. So, she created a company focused on refinishing and refacing existing cabinets to a factory-grade standard. Founded in Aldergrove in 2009, Kitchen Makeovers has transformed about 7,000 kitchens and remains family-owned.
